The Honourable AbdilleYussuf Mohamed is the Third Speaker of the County Assembly of Wajir, Wajir County. He was elected to the position of Speaker on Wednesday, 21st September 2022 during the first sitting of the County Assembly of Wajir.
Hon. Abdille is a Financial Analyst by profession and a Certified Public Secretary. He is an associate of Kenya Institute of Bankers (AKIB) and a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA). He holds a B.Com (Accounting) degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
He is an Alumnus of Starehe Boys Centre which he joined after his basic education at Jogbaru Primary School in Wajir County.
He served as a Director at Corporate Leadership Solution Ltd since 2019; he also served as a Commissioner of the Public Service Board of Wajir County from 2013 to 2019. Hon. Abdille also served as a Financial Advisor at GE Capital Ireland from 2005 to 2013.
Hon. Abdisalan Mohamed Mohamud Deputy Speaker, County Assembly of Wajir.
Hon. Abdisalan Mohamed Mohamud is the Third Deputy Speaker of the County Assembly of Wajir and also elected Member for Gurar Ward, Wajir North Constituency. Heholds Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Administration.
He served as a monitoring and Evaluation Consultant at Research Care Africa since 2015 to 2017. Hon. Abdisalan also worked as an outreach Manager for the National Alliance Party from 2012 to 2013. He also worked as a Programme officer for Kenya African National Union (KANU) between 2011 to 2013.
