The Wajir County Assembly Service Board comprises of The Speaker, Two members nominated by the major coalitions, The Clerk and two Members representing the public.
The Speaker who is an ex-official member is the head of the County Legislature and is expected to conduct all sittings of the County Assembly. Hon. AbdilleYussuf Mohamed is currently the Speaker of the Wajir County Assembly. He was elected on Wednesday, 21st September 2022 during the first sitting of the County Assembly of Wajir.
Hon. Abey Jimale Yussuf is the Majority party Board Member.
Hon. Abdirizak Dakat is the Minority party Board Member.
